About the Summit
It’s vitally important for Michigan students to graduate with in-demand skills. Businesses need a talented workforce so they can grow and thrive, creating more and better jobs. That’s why it is important for industry to collaborate more closely with K-12 districts and higher education. Students need hands-on training using state-of-the-art equipment so they are ready to step into the workforce. The Governor’s Education & Talent Summit is an opportunity to start those relationships, exploring opportunities that will make Michigan stronger now and in the years to come.
